There's Always Next Year!

OK, so the pain is fading and life goes on. Yes I'm referring to both West Ham United who lost a real close FA Cup Final on Saturday and my Sens, who looked like they could take it to game 6, only to roll over in extra time and now wave goodbye to the Stanley Cup for another year. Yes it's only a game, but one that all of us as a family take pretty seriously. We put our hearts in it all year and then time, after time, after time we just get let down. And I'm talking about the Sens here, not West Ham, who fought like champions.

I'd also like to publicly thank Ray Emery for all his efforts throughout the year and indeed the Stanley Cup. He can certainly hold his head high. Also I'd like to publicly say "Up yours" to all the lousy commentators, who tried their best to undermine all the good work, Ray did for us. Finally, I hope we can put the Dominic Haesk thing behind us and wave goodbye to a waste of space, who should have put his team before his country. Because in the end, he screwed both.

I'm sure over the next few days, we'll find out how all this shakes down to the players. There's a few that need to take a deep look at what they want to acheive and whether they can provide a level of comitment that the team needs and the fans deserve. When all is said and done, I love my team and will walk over hot coals for them, I just hope they don't force me to. Go Sens Go!

Oh my God!

Well here we are again. 2-2 after 3 periods and back soon for the first period of overtime. We can do this. We're playing intelligently and strong. Time will tell. Good luck my Sens. Go-Sens-Go

Here we go again

From football to hockey. My Sens are now trailing 2-1 now in the second period. I just hope we can pull our finger out and start to play like the Sens I know. Emery has been stellar and it's nice to finally put Hasek behind us.

It's Wasn't To Be

West Ham just couldn't nail it. We played brilliantly throughout, but it just wasn't to be. We went up 3-2 in the second half, but Liverpool had a cracking stike in the dying minutes to tie 3-3. Nothing was decided in two ends of overtime and it went to penalties. We just weren't sharp enough and Hislop only managed to keep one out. And like my dream it fades and dies...

Forever Blowing Bubbles

So here I am, on my couch, at half time, basking in the fact that my team, West Ham are leading Liverpool 2-1. Still a long way to go, but hopefully we can go all the way and win the FA cup for the first time in 26 years. I suddenly realised how much I missed watching WestHam. Ah the memories.

More after full time.
